Grilled Delmonico Steaks
- 6 to 8 Delmonico steaks (tell the butcher to not cut off the tips)
- coarse black pepper
- Lawry's seasoning salt
- Adolph's meat tenderizer
- 1 c. cider vinegar and 1 c. water, mixed together
- 4 pkg. breakfast steaks (thinly sliced sirloin tip steak)
- 2 (8 oz.) medium bottles Italian salad dressing (blended type)
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- Lawry's seasoning salt
- garlic salt
- black pepper
- 4 large white onions, cut in thick slices
- Pour the entire two bottles of Italian salad dressing into a large bowl which has a fitted cover.
- Add the cider vinegar; mix well.
- Lightly season meat with garlic salt, Lawry's salt, then the black pepper.
- Immerse the meat in the marinade, making sure all meat is coated.
- Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.
