Tomato Lentil Soup

  1. saute 3-5 minutes, olive oil, onions and carrots, Add and saute 1 minute thyme and marjoram, then add chicken broth, lentils, parsley , salt and pepper to taste , and tomatoes.
  2. cook, covered 45 minutes till lentils are tender.
  3. Add 1/3 cup or less sherry (not optional).
