Basil Tomato Pepper Sandwich
- 2 slices Wheat Bread
- Butter Spray
- 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Dressing
- 8 leaves Basil
- 3 slices Tomato
- 1/4 cups Roasted Red Bell Pepper
- 1/2 ounces, weight Lite Mozzarella Cheese
- Heat a skillet or panini maker on medium.
- Spray both outside pieces of bread with butter.
- On the inside bottom piece of bread, add 1/2 tablespoon of balsamic dressing.
- Then add 4 basil leaves, tomatoes, pepper, 4 more basil leaves and mozzarella cheese.
- Add 1/2 tablespoon balsamic dressing to the top inside slice of bread and place bread with balsamic dressing side facing down onto sandwich.
- Place sandwich on skillet.
- Cook until browned on the bottom, then flip and cook until bottom is lightly golden.
- Use a spatula to push the bread down so the cheese melts and sandwich flattens.
- Makes 1 sandwich.
