Crispy Caramel Corn (For Microwave) Recipe
- 7 quarts. popped corn
- 1 c. peanuts
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- Measure into saucepan the brown sugar, salt, butter and corn syrup.
- Bring to boil and boil 5 min.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda.
- Pour over popped corn and mix well.
- Pour caramel corn into a large brown paper bag which's been sprayed inside with Pam cooking spray.
- Microwave 1 1/2 min.
- Stir corn.
- Microwave 1 1/2 min again.
- Pour out onto waxed paper to cold.
- Store in airtight container.
- Don't make in high humidity.
