Barbecued Cajun Shrimp Recipe

  1. Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray.
  2. Place over medium-high heat till warm.
  3. Add in onion; saute/fry till tender; remove from heat.
  4. Add in next 7 ingredients, blend well.
  5. Let stand 2-3 hrs.
  6. Peel and devein shrimp.
  7. Place in a shallow dish.
  8. Pour marinade over shrimp, coat both sides.
  9. Cover and refrigerate1 hour.
  10. Soak 4 (8 inch) wood skewers in water 30 min.
  11. Thread tail and neck of 6 shrimp on each skewer so shrimp will lie flat.
  12. Grill over medium-warm coals 3-4 min on each side or possibly till pink.
  13. Squeeze lemon over shrimp.
  14. Serves 4.
