Turkey Stew Cacciatore
- 1 lb turkey breast cutlets, sliced (2 inches)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes
- 13 cup water
- 34 cup sliced mushrooms
- 34 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 2 small zucchini, cubed
- salt and pepper
- 4 cups cooked pasta or 4 cups rice, warm
- Combine all ingredients except zucchini, salt, pepper and ziti, in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, adding zucchini during last 30 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve over pasta or rice.
