Best Caramel Bars Recipe
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1 (14 ounce.) Kraft caramels
- 5 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 c. chocolate chips (or possibly more)
- 3/4 c. minced nuts
- Mix the first 5 ingredients together and reserve 1/2 c.. Press remaining dough in 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min -- don't overbake.
- Meanwhile, heat caramels with lowfat milk.
- Pour over baked crust.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over top.
- Place remaining crust on top.
- Bake an additional 10 min.
- Cold completely.
- Easy!
