Classic Edamame
- 12 cups water
- 14 cup salt, divided
- 3 cups edamame, in the pod trimmed
- 14 teaspoon sesame oil
- In a saucepan bring water and 3 tablespoons salt to a boil.
- Add edamame and boil until tender-crisp, about 6 minutes.
- Drain beans and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add remaining salt and sesame oil and toss to coat.
