Ben's Best Vegetarian Chili

  1. Empty black and kidney beans into a large pot.
  2. Add water and bring to a boil.
  3. When beans are warm and tender add diced tomatoes and tomato paste, stir.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer.
  5. While pot is on simmer, grease a frying pan with olive oil.
  6. Add veggie crumblers and cook according to package directions.
  7. When browned, add Frank's Red Hot (or other hot sauce) to preferred taste.
  8. Add garlic and onions to pan with veggie crumblers and stir.
  9. Let cook for about a minute and add the contents of the pan to the pot.
  10. Stir.
  11. Add mint, chili powder, and 357 Mad Dog (or favorite chili sauce) to taste.
  12. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
