Cubed Steaks Parmesan Recipe
- 1 egg
- Dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. finely crushed saltines
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 4 beef cubed steaks (about 4 ounce. each)
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 (8 ounce.) can pizza sauce
- Beat together egg, pepper and 1 Tbsp.
- water.
- Combine crumbs and 2 Tbsp.
- of the cheese.
- Dip steaks in egg mix, then into crumbs.
- In skillet, brown the steaks in warm oil; drain off fat.
- Pour in pizza sauce.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer 20 min, adding a little water if necessary to keep the sauce from sticking.
- Sprinkle with the remaining 2 Tbsp.
- cheese.
- Makes 4 servings.
