Turkey Wild Rice Bake Recipe
- 1 bag (16 ounce.) frzn broccoli cuts
- 2 c. diced cooked turkey
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 c. cooked rice">wild rice or possibly white rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 1 jar (2 ounce.) pimento
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- Salt & pepper
- 1 can French fried onions
- Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.
- Place about half in lightly greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Top with half the turkey and half the cheese.
- Stir rice, soup, mayonnaise, pimento, almonds, onions and seasonings together.
- Spoon half over the cheese.
- Repeat layers, using up all the ingredients.
- Bake in preheated oven, 350 degrees, for 45 min or possibly till bubbly.
- Sprinkle with onions.
- Return to oven and continue baking 3 to 5 min or possibly till onions are beginning to brown.
