Southern Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

  1. Place berries in a lightly greased shallow 2 qt baking dish.
  2. Combine sugar and flour; stir in water and lemon juice.
  3. Pour mix over berries and bake at 425 degrees for 15 min.
  4. Place crust over warm berries; brush with butter.
  5. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-30 min or possibly till crust is golden.
  6. Serve hot with ice cream, if you like.
  7. Yield: 6-8 servings.
