Baked BBQ Meatballs
- 1 pound Ground Round
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 cup Finely Diced Onion
- 13 ounces, fluid Evaporated Milk
- 2 cups Oats
- 2 whole Beaten Eggs
- 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 2 dashes Ground Pepper
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1- 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
- Mix together the meat, onion, evaporated milk, oats, beaten eggs, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Make meatballs about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and place them in a single layer in an oven-proof dish.
- Meanwhile, mix together ketchup, brown sugar and liquid smoke in a saucepan over medium low just enough to melt the brown sugar in the sauce.
- Pour sauce over the meatballs evenly.
- Place meatballs in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
