Chocolate Malt Cake

  1. Place butter and sugar in bowl.
  2. Using electric mixer, mix butter and sugar together until mixture is light and creamy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat l minute at medium speed.
  4. Combine flour, cocoa, malted milk powder, baking soda and salt; add alternately with water to butter-egg mixture.
  5. Pour batter into two buttered and floured 8-inch cake pans.
  6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until test done.
  7. Cook and frost.
  8. Frosting: Whip the cream, then add remaining ingredients slowly.
