COOL 'N EASY Strawberry Pie
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Sugar Free Gelatin
- ice cubes
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 1 cup chopped strawberries Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 ready-to-use reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz. or 9 inch)
- 5 whole strawberries, halved Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
- Add ice to cold water to make 1 cup.
- Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened.
- Remove any remaining ice.
- Stir in 2-1/2 cups of the whipped topping with wire whisk until well blended.
- Stir in chopped strawberries.
- Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound.
- Spoon into crust.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and strawberry halves just before serving.
- Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
