COOL 'N EASY Strawberry Pie

  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  2. Add ice to cold water to make 1 cup.
  3. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove any remaining ice.
  5. Stir in 2-1/2 cups of the whipped topping with wire whisk until well blended.
  6. Stir in chopped strawberries.
  7. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound.
  8. Spoon into crust.
  9. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Top with remaining whipped topping and strawberry halves just before serving.
  11. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
