Baked Goat Cheese in Tomato Sauce
- 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 4 oz. goat cheese
- 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. coarsely chopped fresh basil
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix cream cheese, goat cheese and rosemary until blended.
- Press into 3-inch round between 2 sheets of waxed paper.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Heat oil in small saucepan on medium heat.
- Add garlic; cook and stir 30 sec.
- Stir in tomato sauce; bring just to boil, stirring frequently.
- Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.
- Pour into shallow baking dish; place cheese round in center of sauce.
- Bake 15 min.
- or until cheese is heated through.
- Sprinkle with basil.
