Cherry Cran Salad Recipe
- 1 (20 ounce.) can frzn pitted tart red cherries, thawed
- 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
- 1 (8 ounce.) can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 (8 ounce.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. mini marshmallows
- 2 tbsp. minced walnuts
- Drain cherries; reserve syrup.
- If needed, add in water to syrup to make 1 c. liquid, bring liquid to boiling.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in cherry gelatin; dissolve.
- With fork, break up cranberry sauce and stir into cherry gelatin till smooth.
- Stir in liquid removed cherries.
- Pour into 9 x 9 x 2 inch dish and refrigeratetill almost hard.
- Dissolve lemon gelatin in the boiling water.
- Beat cream cheese with mayonnaise; gradually add in lemon gelatin.
- Stir in undrained pineapple - refrigeratetill partially set.
- Whip cream; fold into lemon mix with marshmallows.
- Spread on top of almost set cherry gelatin, sprinkle with nuts.
- Cover; refrigeratetill hard.
- Serves 12.
