Beef Pot Roast Recipe
- 4 to 5 pound beef chuck, arm roast, or possibly rump roast
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt and pepper
- 1 minced carrot
- 1 celery stick, minced
- 1 sm. onion, stuck with 3 cloves
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 3/4 c. dairy lowfat sour cream, mixed with 3 Tbsp. flour
- Rub beef roast with garlic; season with salt and pepper.
- Place roast in crock pot and add in all other ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hrs.
- Excellent served with warm buttered noodles.
