Spaghetti And Meatball Stew
- 2 Tbsp. skim milk
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 lb. fresh lean ground turkey or extra lean ground beef
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 c. prepared low-fat no cholesterol spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 (2.5 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- 4 oz. (1 2/3 c.) uncooked pasta nuggets (radiatore)
- Heat oven to 450u0b0.
- In medium bowl, combine milk and egg whites; blend well.
- Stir in turkey, bread crumbs, poultry seasoning and pepper.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Place in ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 450u0b0 for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and thoroughly cooked.
