Smoky Potato Packets
- 1 (28 ounce) bagfrozen O'Brien potatoes
- 1 (16 ounce) packageminiature smoked sausage (ex. Lil Smokies)
- 34 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or 2 tablespoons chives
- Heat gas or charcoal grill.
- Cut 4 (18x12 inch) sheets of foil.
- Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.
- In large bowl, gently mix potatoes, sausages, and dressing.
- Spoon mixture evenly onto foil sheets.
- Seal each packet using double fold seals, allowing room for heat expansion.
- Place packets on grill over medium heat.
- Cover grill and cook 30-35 minutes, rotating and turning packets several times.
- Remove packets from grill; open carefully to allow steam to escape.
- Sprinkle each with cheese and green onions.
