Pepper Nut Cookies - Pfeffernodder

  1. Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl.
  2. Add butter, eggs, and grated lemon rind.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Knead with hands until dough is smooth.
  5. Let rest about 1 hour.
  6. Form into small balls and bake on greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees (175 C.) until golden brown.
  7. Roll in powdered sugar.
