5-minute Caramel Apple Dip
- 1 container Cool Whip (8 Ounce Conatiner) Or Substitute 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream For The Container Of Cool Whip
- 1/2 teaspoons Apple Pie Spice
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/4 cups Caramel Sauce
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cups Apple, Peeled And Finely Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar, Optional, Only If Needed
- For Serving: Graham Crackers, Gingersnaps Or Other Cookies
- If using heavy cream, in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks begin to form.
- This will take about 2-3 minutes.
- If using Cool whip, just place it into the mixing bowl and turn the mixer on medium speed.
- Sprinkle in the apple pie spice, vanilla extract, salt and caramel sauce until its all combined.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing.
- Turn mixer on medium and whip in the softened cream cheese until incorporated.
- Lastly, add the finely diced apple and mix until evenly combined.
- Place into a bowl, cover and refrigerate until chilled, about one hour.
- Serve with graham crackers, gingersnaps or other cookies.
- Note: The apples will lend the dip some sweetness while the dip chills.
- If the dip is not sweet enough for your liking, stir in a tablespoon of sugar before serving.
