Fresh Strawberry Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Grease 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
  3. Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, allspice and nutmeg.
  4. Mix together in bowl.
  5. Set aside about 1/4 cup flour mixture.
  6. Break eggs into another bowl.
  7. Beat lightly.
  8. Measure and pour in honey.
  9. Melt butter in small pan on medium heat and blend in eggs slowly.
  10. Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  11. Chop candied fruit and nuts.
  12. Sprinkle with remaining flour mixture. Stir both into batter.
  13. Spread in baking pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
  14. May be served plain or frosted.
  15. Cut in squares.
  16. Makes 40 servings.
