Shells with Broccoli-Tomato Sauce
- 2 slice bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 1 jar tomato pasta sauce
- 2 package frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 lb. medium pasta shells
- 1 c. half-and-half
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook bacon and onion in large pot over medium high heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add pasta sauce and bring to a boil.
- Stir in broccoli, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook shells according to package directions.
- Stir half-and-half into sauce; heat through.
- Serve shells tossed with sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan.
