Cream Cheese-Cinnamon Buns
- 1 egg
- 1 cup plus 2 tsp. milk, divided
- 2-1/2 cups flour, divided
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. cold butter, divided
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Whisk egg and 1 cup milk until blended; set aside.
- Combine 2-1/4 cups flour, granulated sugar and baking powder in large bowl.
- Cut in 1/2 cup butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg mixture; stir until mixture forms soft dough.
- Sprinkle remaining flour onto work surface.
- Add dough; knead until smooth and no longer sticky.
- Roll into 12x10-inch rectangle.
- Melt remaining butter; brush onto dough.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon until blended; sprinkle over dough.
- Roll up dough tightly, starting at one long side.
- Cut into 16 slices; place, cut sides up, on parchment-covered baking sheet.
- Bake 18 to 20 min.
- or until puffed and lightly browned.
- Cool slightly.
- Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese and remaining milk until blended.
- Drizzle over buns.
