Pork Chop Rice Casserole Recipe
- 6 pork chops
- 2 tbsp. lard
- 1 c. uncooked minute rice
- 1 env. onion soup mix
- 1 (4 ounce.) can mushrooms
- Warm water
- Brown pork chops in lard.
- Spread rice in bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Reserve 1 Tbsp.
- onion soup mix and sprinkle rest over rice.
- Drain mushrooms, saving liquid and distribute over rice.
- Add in warm water to mushrooms to rice.
- Arrange chops on top.
- Sprinkle with rest of soup mix.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees about 45 min to 1 hour.
- Remove foil and cook 10 min.
