Chikuwa Tossed in Green Onions and Umeboshi
- 4 Chikuwa
- 1 Umeboshi (large)
- 8 stems Thin green onions
- 1/2 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 for garnish Bonito flakes (optional)
- Slice the chikuwa thinly at an angle.
- Finely cut the green onions.
- Remove the pit from the umeboshi and mince the flesh with a knife.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix.
- Add the chikuwa, toss until even, then it's done.
- Arrange on a plate and garnish with katsuobushi.
