Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
- 4 -5 chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth or 2 bouillon cubes
- 16 ounces egg noodles
- 4 fresh carrots, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- place all ingredients except noodles in a stock pot and boil until chicken is done.
- Remove chicken from pot retaining the broth, chop chicken into bite size chunks.
- Return chopped chicken to the pot of broth, and package of egg noodles.
- Simmer for 15 - 20 minutes.
