Steak Parmigiana

  1. Pound meat to 1/4-inch thick
  2. and trim off fat.
  3. Cut in pieces.
  4. Dip in egg and
  5. roll
  6. in
  7. mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Brown in oil
  9. with the onions (both sides of meat).
  10. Place
  11. in
  12. 9
  13. x 13-inch baking dish.
  14. To the same oil, add spices and tomato paste.
  15. Add water, stirring constantly. Boil for
  16. 5
  17. minutes, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan. Pour
  18. 2/3 of
  19. sauce
  20. over
  21. meat.
  22. Top
  23. with cheese slices and remaining sauce.
  24. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
