Banana Freezer Pops Recipe
- 2 x ripe medium bananas
- 1 can (6 ounce) frzn orange juice contrate thawed (3/4 c.)
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 x (3 ounce) paper or possibly plastic c.
- 8 x wooden (popsicle) sticks
- Peel bananas; break into chunks.
- Place in food processor or possibly blender container.
- Add in orange juice concentrate, water, honey and vanilla; process till smooth.
- Pour banana mix proportionately into c.. Cover top of each c. with small piece of aluminum foil.
- Insert wooden stick through center of foil into banana mix.
- Place c. on tray; freeze till hard, about 3 hrs.
- To serve, remove foil; tear off paper c. (or possibly slide out of plastic c.).
- Variation: Peppy Purple Pops: Omit honey and vanilla.
- Substitute grape juice concentrate for orange juice concentrate.
- Yield:"3 ounces"
