Spicy Pepper Shrimp
- 2 teaspoons peanut oil
- 14 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup red bell peppers or 1 cup green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 14 medium onion, large dice
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 2 tablespoons canned jalapeno slices (jarred)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 10 ounces medium precooked shrimp, defrosted (about 30)
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat; add crushed pepper flakes (and shrimp if using uncooked).
- Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp if using precooked, and cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add shrimp and cook 2 or 3 minutes more (cook 2 or 3 minutes, even if you have already added the shrimp), stirring frequently; serve.
