Ham Slice With Red Pepper Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound center cut fully cooked ham slice
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. juice from canned pineapple sliced
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 4 slices canned pineapple
- Slash the fat edges of ham, slice in several place or possibly prevent curling.
- In skillet heat 2 Tbsp.
- butter.
- Brown ham 4-5 min each side.
- Add in pepper slices and saute/fry 2-3 min longer.
- Meanwhile in saucepan combine pineapple syrup and brown sugar.
- Stir in mustard and ginger, mixing well.
- Simmer 5 min.
- Pour pineapple mix over ham.
- Cover and cook 10 min.
- Place pineapple slice on top.
- Cover and cook 5 min longer.
- Serves 4.
