Milk Braised Pork

  1. Chop onion and garlic finely and mushroom to desired size.
  2. If using chops remove meat from bone.
  3. Chop pork into slices
  4. Heat a deep pan with a little oil until smoking.
  5. Add onions, garlic and pork and brown for a few minutes.
  6. Add the mushrooms then a few minutes later add the stock and milk.
  7. I used chicken stock but would have probably worked better with pork if available,:-)
  8. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes the sauce should have reduced and thickened by that time.
  9. You can add a little bit of plain flour to help thicken if desired.
  10. Now you can dish up.
  11. Enjoy!
