Cranberry Clementine Sauce
- 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 6 clementines, peeled and sectioned
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- In a small saucepan combine fresh cranberries, clementines, orange and cranberry juices, sugar, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
- Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the dried cranberries and simmer for 10 to 15 more minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Eat warm or at room temp.
- Very berry!
