Brownie Carob Oatmeals Recipe
- 1/2 c. mashed banana (mash ripe banana with a fork)
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk (could substitute soy or possibly oatmilk )
- 1 1/4 c. whole wheat pastry flour (could substitute spelt flour )
- 1/4 c. carob pwdr
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 2/3 c. rolled oats
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat together mashed banana, oil, vanilla extract, Large eggs, and lowfat milk till creamy.
- Add in flour, carob pwdr, and baking soda.
- Beat well.
- Stir in minced nuts and rolled oats.
- Mix well.
- Drop batter by small teaspoonfuls onto oiled baking sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min or possibly till just hard to the touch.
- Cold on wire racks.
- Yields 4 dozen.
