Homemade Granola
- 4 cups old fashioned oats
- 12 cup unsweetened dried shredded coconut
- 12 cup pecan halves
- 12 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
- 1 cup ground flax seeds
- 1 -2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 14 cup honey
- 12 cup canola oil
- 14 cup natural-style peanut butter
- Stir Oats, Coconut, Pecans, Sunflower seeds and flax seed in a big bowl.
- In the microwave on 50% power, heat the remaining ingredients in a pyrex bowl until liquid (about 3 minutes).
- Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir so that it is well mixed.
- Cover a jelly roll pan with tin foil, pour mixture onto the pan.
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees --
- Bake for 30 minutes, taking it out every 10 minutes to stir around.
- Let cool!
- Enjoy with yogurt, milk, fruit, icecream -- anything!
