Liz's Potato Cheese Soup

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients and cook until tender.
  2. Melt butter in a sauce pan, blend in flour and add milk slowly.
  3. Cook until thickening a little.
  4. Add milk mixture to hot vegetables, add ham, broccoli, cheese, broth and parsley.
  5. Cook until thickens.
  6. Stir constantly and don't boil.
