Buttermilk Herbed Mashed Potatoes

  1. Peel and slice potatoes into chunks.
  2. In large pot, add potatoes and cover with water.
  3. Place pot on medium heat cooktop and bring to boil.
  4. Cook until potatoes are fork tender.
  5. Drain water thoroughly and return potatoes to same pot.
  6. Add butter and begin mashing.
  7. Add buttermilk, salt, pepper and chives.
  8. Mash until you are happy with consistency.
