Microwave Turkey Stuffing Casserole Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter, cut up
- 1 pkg. (7 ounce.) Pepperidge farm herb seasoned cube stuffing mix
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) Campbells condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. (about 12 ounce.) cubed cooked turkey or possibly chicken
- 1 c. coarsely minced celery
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) frzn minced broccoli, cooked and liquid removed
- 3/4 c. (3 ounce.) shredded cheddar cheese
- Place butter in large microwave safe bowl.
- Cover; microwave on high 40 seconds or possibly till melted.
- Add in stuffing mix; toss to coat proportionately.
- Set aside.
- In large bowl, stir soup till smooth.
- Stir in lowfat milk; stir in turkey, celery and broccoli.
- Spread 1/2 of the stuffing mix in 12 x 8 inch microwave safe baking dish.
- Spread soup mix over stuffing.
- Cover with wax paper; microwave on high 10 min or possibly till heated through, rotating dish once during cooking.
- Top with remaining stuffing mix; sprinkle with cheese.
- Microwave, uncovered, on high 1 minute.
- Let stand, uncovered, 5 min.
