- 1 dozen MANICOTTI SHELLS
- 1 lb GROUND BEEF
- 1 WHOLE ONION
- 12 oz CREAM CHEESE
- 1 cup MOZZARELLA CHEESE
- 1 tbsp GARLIC POWDER
- 1 tsp PAPRIKA
- 1 tsp PARSLEY
- 1 tsp CILANTRO
- 1 tsp SALT
- 1 tsp PEPPER
- 24 oz TOMATO SAUCE (CANNED/HOMEMADE)
- 4 qts water
- 4 strips bacon
- Bring water for boiling shells to a hard boil.
- Add shells and boil for 8 minutes.
- Drain and cool shells making sure the do not touch so they do not stick together.
- Brown ground beef and bacon with all spices/seasoning with diced onion.
- Add cream cheese and shredded cheese, cook on low until melted.
- Cover 1/4 in of pan with heated sauce mixture and pre-heat oven to 300F.
- Stuff cooled shells with meat cheese mixture.
- Place stuffed shells on pan with sauce layer.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top with parsley and cilantro and sauce.
- I love mine with more sauce than most.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
