Eggnog Fruit Dip Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. dairy eggnog
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 tbsp. light rum
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- Assorted fruit dippers (sliced apples, strawberry, cantelope chunks, pear slices)
- In medium saucepan, combine eggnog and cornstarch.
- Cook and stir over medium heat till thick and bubbly.
- Cook for two or possibly three min.
- Remove from heat.
- Cover with plastic wrap and cold.
- Whip cream and sugar till peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream, lowfat sour cream and rum into cooled eggnog mix.
- Refrigeratefor several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Serve with fruit.
