Russian Shish Kabobs

  1. Make sure your meat is nicely cubed.
  2. Place in a pot and put in the next six ingredients (starting from the mayo) and marinate overnight.
  3. (Hint: When you go to the store to buy your meat, make sure to have your butcher cube it for you.
  4. It saves a ton of time.)
  5. Cube all veggies and place in plastic bags in preparation for the next day.
  6. (Now, the one ingredient that Im sure may seem a little foreign is the Vegeta.
  7. You can find this at any European/Slavic store in your area.
  8. All it is is a bunch of MSG that makes everything taste SO good.
  9. You can do this recipe without it and substitute it with a bit of chicken bouillon and a pinch of fresh garlic in the marinade.
  10. But its so much better with Vegeta.)
  11. Make sure to have a bottle with vinegar to spritz over the skewers as you are bbq-ing them.
  12. (We use a water bottle with holes poked in the lid.
  13. Also, take a pinch of diced onions and add it to the vinegar.)
  14. Assemble your kabobs with the meat and veggies, and grill to your desired doneness.
