Beef With Broccoli
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 12 lbs flank steaks
- 12 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
- 2 heads broccoli
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- wisk together baking soda, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl.
- toss the steak with maranade to coat.
- cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- in a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, flour and sherry until smooth.
- set aside.
- in a large wok or saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat until simmering.
- add broccoli and saute for 3 minute stirring often.
- transfer broccoli to plate.
- reduce heat to medium high.
- car3efully add last tablespoon of vegetable oil to the hot pan.
- Add marinated meat and half of the sauce mixture and saute for 3-4 min stirring often until meat is cooked.
- Stir in Broccoli and remaining sauce mixture.
- Saute for 1 minute.
- Serve.
