Beef With Broccoli

  1. wisk together baking soda, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl.
  2. toss the steak with maranade to coat.
  3. cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. in a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, flour and sherry until smooth.
  5. set aside.
  6. in a large wok or saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat until simmering.
  7. add broccoli and saute for 3 minute stirring often.
  8. transfer broccoli to plate.
  9. reduce heat to medium high.
  10. car3efully add last tablespoon of vegetable oil to the hot pan.
  11. Add marinated meat and half of the sauce mixture and saute for 3-4 min stirring often until meat is cooked.
  12. Stir in Broccoli and remaining sauce mixture.
  13. Saute for 1 minute.
  14. Serve.
