Cherry Vanilla Snowdrops
- 1 lb butter, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12 cup cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 12 cups dried cherries
- 34 cup chopped pistachio nut (optional)
- 1 lb powdered sugar, for rolling
- Cream the butter, powdered sugar and cornstarch.
- Add the salt, vanilla and flour and mix to a nice dough.
- Fold in the cherries and nuts.
- Roll in 1 inch balls and bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes on parchment lined baking sheets.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar coating well.
- When cool, re-roll in additional sugar.
