Banana Liqueur (Long/Kibbey) Recipe

• 1 lrg Banana just ripe, peeled
• 1 x Fifth of Vodka or possibly Light Rum
• 1 1/4 c. Granulated Sugar
• 1/2 c. Water
• 1 piece Vanilla Bean 2 "

1. Mash banana.
2. Add in banana to vodka.
3. Using wooden spoon, submerge banana mash (exposure to air will brown the banana).
4. Steep 2 weeks.
5. Strain, filter, add in syrup.
6. Slit open vanilla bean, add in to mix.
7. Age 1 month, remove bean.
8. Strain and filter again as necessary.
9. Age another month.
