Banana Liqueur (Long/Kibbey) Recipe

  1. Mash banana.
  2. Add in banana to vodka.
  3. Using wooden spoon, submerge banana mash (exposure to air will brown the banana).
  4. Steep 2 weeks.
  5. Strain, filter, add in syrup.
  6. Slit open vanilla bean, add in to mix.
  7. Age 1 month, remove bean.
  8. Strain and filter again as necessary.
  9. Age another month.

just, fifth of vodka, sugar, water, vanilla
