Sinamon French Toast Crunch
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk or 1 cup cream
- 14 teaspoon vanilla
- 18 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 slices thick cut bread
- 1 cup Life Cereal, finely crushed (or whatever cereal you have on hand, can use food processor, but I just use the smashed up bits)
- 1 tablespoon butter, for pan
- Add butter to skillit or griddle and place over medium heat.
- Crush cereal and place in pie plate.
- Make Custard: combine beaten eggs, cream, vanilla and cinnamon ( I also use a pie plate for this step)
- Add slices of bread let them mingle in the custard for a few minutes flip and repeat.
- Dip yummy custard bread into crunchy cereal.
- Place in buttery pan cook until golden brown (should only take a few minutes) flip and repeat.
- I enjoy mine dusted with powdered sugar and whip cream, but they are also great with syrup or even just plain!
