Sugar-Free Applesauce Raisin Cookies
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 stick softened margarine
- 1/3 c. brown Sugar Twin (brown sugar substitute)
- 1 egg or 1/4 c. egg substitute
- 1 1/3 c. applesauce (unsweetened)
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Sift together the first 7 ingredients; set aside.
- Cream the margarine until fluffy.
- Blend in brown Sugar Twin and egg. Alternately add dry ingredients and applesauce; blend well.
- Add vanilla, oats and raisins.
- Drop by tablespoon, then flatten.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
