Raspberry White Chocolate Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine sugar, butter, salt and vanilla in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Beat at low speed, adding flour 1 cup at a time and scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Remove 1 cup crumb mixture; set aside.
  6. Add eggs to remaining crumb mixture in bowl; beat until mixture forms a dough.
  7. Press dough evenly into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  8. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Spread preserves over hot, partially baked bars.
  10. Sprinkle white baking chips over preserves.
  11. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  12. Continue baking 20-25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Cut into bars.
