Brisket Of Beef With Sauerkraut Recipe

  1. Wipe meat, place in large pan add in cool water to cover, bring to a boil and skim off fat.
  2. Add in onion and seasonings and continue to simmer till meat is tender.
  3. About 2 hrs.
  4. Tranfer the meat and 1/4 of the liquid to another pan.
  5. (The remaining liquid mak a strong broth to garish with noodles and serve as soup.)
  6. To the meat add in the sauerkraut, potato, and apple.
  7. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and simmer all together for 15 min.
