Melt In You Mouth Sugar Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. butter, softened
• 1 c. white sugar
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 c. liquid shortening
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 4 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Cream together first 5 ingredients, then add in remaining ingredients.
2. Chill.
3. Roll dough into small balls; roll in granulated sugar, place on cookie sheets and press out with fork.
4. Bake 12 min at 350 degrees.
